Out west, Rachel and Sam’s group was a just a couple miles outside of Townsend when they checked in. Sam sent this somewhat dark, somewhat arty candid of the group getting going this morning. It’s bit grainy, but that is Montana’s beautiful Front Range in the background.
Down in the Caribbean, we heard from Mike and Annie — they were thrilled with this morning’s surf lesson near Rincon. Just about everyone caught waves! When they checked in, they were strolling around Mayaguez’s beautiful Plaza Colon and eating homemade ice cream from the famous Rex Cream shop in town before heading back to the “Villa” and back to work on the Refuge tomorrow. Thanks to a generous Iphone owner in the group, we should have pictures of their group in tomorrow’s blog.
