From snorkeling in the Caribbean to hiking through the Italian Dolomites and everything in between, there isn’t a single bad emoji in the book! Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)
Wow, let’s talk about how fun the backcountry is! After 3 days backpacking through Alaska’s wilderness, it’s time to relax and resupply. R and R if you will! Many laughs were had, beautiful views were seen, but now, it is time to explore Alaska to a further extent… which is the grocery store, well deserved showers, and rest! Tomorrow holds a big day of kayaking adventures!

Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)
How can it be that CRM2 ends tomorrow? We will be so sad to see this awesome crew depart, but they spent their last full day together in style starting with a meaningful morning of service with Boulder Community Food Share. They followed up their morning with a yummy camp lunch, another round of their favorite game, “WOOSH!”, and a friendly water balloon fight! It is nearly impossible to top the day they’ve had, but exploring Boulder and having a final celebratory dinner together this evening may just make today the most epic day ever!

Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)
While relaxing on a catamaran under sunny blue skies this morning, CSPR grabbed their snorkels and enjoyed exploring beautiful Puerto Rican waters. How could today get any better you may ask? Well, a game of volleyball in the crystal clear waters did the trick! After a fun-filled day on the water, they hopped in the car and drove to their new home for the next four nights. After getting settled in, this crew is excited to start a new service project tomorrow morning!

Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)
Two community service opportunities in one day… What could be better? The group spent the morning painting fences and benches with The Nature Conservancy and had some time in the afternoon to relax and recharge at the beach before ending the day with a very special service project tonight! They are assisting with The Ocean Foundation’s night time turtle patrols at a nearby beach, and learning about turtle life cycles in the process. What a way to cap off another amazing day in St. Croix!

Dolomite Mountains & Croatian Coast (DMCC)
After a transit ride, full of great tunes and amazing views the DMCC crew arrived at their new home base for the next couple days. They were ready to stretch their legs and head out on an amazing day hike. On top of that, they discovered an obstacle course on their way back to camp and had to try it out for themselves! They finished off the day with a delicious dinner and rounds of card games, there is no other better way to end the day!

Europe Coast to Coast (ECC)
Holy hills! ECC shook off their rest day legs quickly today with a big climb to kick off their ride. After quite the warm up, they crested their highest hill of the day, enjoyed beautiful views of the towns they just left behind, and cruised along bike paths to their next camp. Stay tuned tomorrow for some epic lakeside riding and for ECC to cross off yet another country on their journey to Venice!

Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)
What a day the IMC crew had! They hiked along stunning cliffsides all morning long. The group even saw some puffins along the way! Back at camp they continued to enjoy some amazing sunshine and play games. They finished off this absolutely epic day with a yummy dinner! They headed to bed, excited to explore a new part of Iceland tomorrow!

Maine Coast College Essay (MCCE)
Today is COLOR WARS in MCCE world! After a lovely morning of working on their essays it was time to take a well deserved break. Everybody was excited for a hike and to take a dip into one of the most beautiful beaches in Maine! Competitions are serious around here as the red and blue team spend their day battling in a variety of games and activities. Who will win in this competitive day of challenges? Only time will tell…

New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)
NEMC is underway and we couldn’t be more pumped to welcome a brand new group of adventurers! We can’t wait to see what this new crew gets up to over the next nine days, and day 1 is off to a swell start! Our Apogee leaders brought the energy as the group took a drive to their first campground of the trip. Music was bumping and conversations were flowing as our NEMCers got to know each other. Then it was time for a yummy camp dinner, some icebreaker games, and a cozy sleep to get our newest campers ready for their first hike together tomorrow!

Northwest Mountains & Coast (NWMC)
Another day, another epic memory made on NWMC! Today the crew made the most of their last full day in Olympic National Park before they head off for their next adventure. They hiked to Marymere Falls and finished off the day with a swim in Lake Crescent to complete an awesome three days exploring the Olympic peninsula! Stay tuned for more watery adventures to come as NWMC makes their way to the beautiful San Juan Islands tomorrow!

Pyrenees Mountains & Coast (PMC)
Day one on the Carros de Foc was downright dreamy! Our PMCers hiked alongside beautiful mountain views and lakes bluer than gatorade on their way to their Refugi for the night! Even better, dinner was cooked for them at their cozy mountain refuge nestled high in the mountains, so all that was left for the night was reminiscing on today’s Apogees and Perigees while enjoying 180 degree views of the national park from their perch at the top of the world!
