Maine Coast Junior (MCJ)

Our mighty, magnificant Maine Coast Junior’s took today to transit from awesome Acadia back to the fun Freeport area. ‘Tween tunes in the van, they also were able to squeeze in some brilliant bowling as a way to ward off the weird weather. We can’t believe tomorrow is their last full day of awesome adventuring as an ensemble!

New England Mountains & Coast A (NEMCA)

New England Mountains & Coast greeted and gamed and started to get going today. They’re gearing up for an awesome adventure through the wonderful White Mountains and the cool coast of Maine over the next 10 days!

Colorado’s Rocky Mountains A (CRMA)

Goodbye gorgeous Grand Lake, ‘ello exciting Estes Park (& elk!)! These trekkers trudged up Trail Ridge Road (located at just under 12,000’!) for some very vast vistas and views en route to their cozy campsite for the next couple of nights.

Colorado’s Rocky Mountains B (CRMB)

Parker and Stella’s positively stellar mountain climbers surely had a stupendous day. Alas, a lack of service leaves us adrift with no updates today.

Caribbean Service (CS)

Golly gee whiz, how time flies! Joe & Nicole’s crew left the impeccable, irresistible island of Vieques today to return to the (bigger) main island of Puerto Rico. After an amazing afternoon ambling through the streets of Old San Juan, they went out to a fancy final dinner and began the long process of saying goodbye to their new friends before they leave tomorrow morning.

Maine Coast College Essay (MCCE)

After a morning of working with words, writing their college essays, Nick & Alex’s crew gave back to the Mid-Coast Maine community with an afternoon of service at Mid-Coast Hunger Prevention.

Maine Coast Photo (MCP)

These photo fanatics got fancy with their focus today. Our mainly magnificent Maine Coast Photo crew took advantage of the gray day and took time diving into some professional, prime, powerful portrait shooting. Photo fun for all!

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEXA)

Delightful and divine photos from yesterday’s Katahdin climb came in this morning as DEXA departed from the land of no-service. Today this terrific team headed towards Portland for a day of final celebrations!

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEXB)

Fond farewells to frothy seas this morning! Daring DEXB quit kayaking and took to the comfy cushioned van seats as they navigated towards pretty and popular Portland, ME for an evening of festivities and fun and final celebrations!

Vermont to Montréal A (VMA) & Vermont to Montréal B (VMB)

Departure day for the vivacious Vermonsters! They’ve biked, bonded, and now must bid farewell. With pounds of positivity and magnificent memories they spread their wings and headed home! No photos today but memories a-plenty to carry them through.

Costa Rica Language & Service (CRLS)

Mark & Eliza’s crew had a salsa-making ‘iron chef’ competition last night — sizzly, spicy, and saucy! Today, after a day of Spanish classes and service, the team is learning a different kind of salsa… dancing!

Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)

Warm waters were wonderfully welcoming for Connor and Alea’s crew as they surfed on Playa Uvita today. Tonight, it was off to Alajuela to enjoy each other’s company for one final night before heading back to their respective homes tomorrow.

California Mountains & Coast (CMCA) & California Mountains & Coast (CMCB)

Off, off, and away – these cool crews of California Coasters are cruising home after a fun-filled few weeks. They’ll have hugs and happy memories to sustain their travels home. Fond farewells were had by all!

CMCA!

Northwest Explorer (NWXA)

Never a dull moment for our noble Northwest Explorers – today this talented team tied up their boots and took to the trails to begin their first beautiful backcountry section. Whimsical wildflowers and perfect peaks are in their future!

Northwest Explorer (NWXB)

The Northwest Explorer Beastly B group is spending the day in the notoriously note-worthy North Cascades. Among other adventures, they’ll prep, pack, and prepare for their backcountry section coming quite quickly upon them tomorrow!

Pacific Coast (PCA)

Oh, Oregon. Cruising down the coast, these confident cyclists enjoyed some beautiful beach breaks and arrived at their accommodations this afternoon after nearly 40 arduous (but achievable!) miles.

Pacific Coast (PCB)

This totally talented team dominated all Seven Devils during their delightful day. The crew conquered the crest of these hills before 9:30 AM. Their lunch spot led them to laugh and laugh at their baseball-themed break in Bandon, OR.

The newest Bandon, OR Baseball Team eats lunch in the dugout!

Pyrenees Mountains & Coast (PMC)

Today’s trip had our group taking trains to the town of Barcelona (well, it’s more of a city, but ‘town’ worked better for alliteration purposes…). Tomorrow they head out for a day of excellent exploring and eating in Barcelona on their last full day together!

Scottish Highlands (SH)

Our sleek, sweet, successful Scottish team said group goodbyes this morning before jetting off on their trip and travel towards home today. The fun flew by and we can’t believe it’s homeward bound for this absolutely awesome adventuring team!

Alps Explorer (AXA)

Zooming from Zermatt to ze campground in Martigny, the gang, fortunately, found time to apply fancy facemasks (because pristine pores are paramount). Tomorrow, they’ll greet the Aletsch Glacier with glee!

Alps Explorer (AXB)

Rest, resupply, and relax! Also swim, see-saw, and swinging mini golf clubs! Tomorrow, Tour du Mont Blanc for twelve taxing, but totally tremendous days of trekking!

Europe Coast to Coast (ECC)

These victorious vikings made it to Venice! With six stellar countries and fantastic fast friendships, these fine folks will celebrate their cycling achievements together with tons of time for festivities and farewells over the next few days. Congrats to our Europe Coast to Coast crew!

America Coast to Coast (ACC1)

Rinse, rest, relax, repeat. The funnily fitting mantra of a reasonable rest day. The awesome ACC1 team deserves a dynamite day of doing nothing more than anyone we know!

America Coast to Coast (ACC2)

This group eats hills for breakfast. Literally. The ACC2 riders handled most of their 4,000 feet of excellent elevation gain before noon! Hills have had hardly any effect on the super spirits of these radical riders. Riding to rest day tomorrow for these riders with the super strong quads.
