Skip to a Specific Trip: CICS, DEXA, DEXB, VMAVMB, CRMCCMCA, CMCB, AKMC, SH, PMC, ECC1, ECC2 ACC

Cape Cod & the Islands (CI)

WOOOEEE! Well, well, well, we’ve got some serious bikers on our hands seeing as our Cape Cod crew biked 24.1 miles today and landed in Provincetown! Provincetown is a wonderful Cape Cod destination for many reasons but the biggest one (in my opinion) is the “finders, keepers” law which says that in the event of a shipwreck in Provincetown you can keep whatever you find!

Face paint for the big ride and in preparing to find some shipwreck treasures!

Caribbean Service (CS)

These Caribbean adventurers had a truly fun-filled day. This morning they were lucky enough to SNORKEL in the warm Caribbean waters, followed by a fulfilling beach clean up at the Ferromagnetic black sand beach!!!

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEXA)

What have we here? Perhaps a sunrise hike to one of the most beautiful sunrise spots on the eastern seaboard? That is exactly what DEXA did this morning!! After marveling at the masterpiece that mother nature created this morning, this crew headed out of Acadia to Holden, Maine to prep for their backcountry expedition that starts tomorrow!

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEXB)

Out of the woods for this group of backpackers! DEXB emerged from the Appalachian Trail backcountry a little stronger and definitely covered in a bit more dirt. They will travel to Baxter park for the next portion of the trip! Whooohooo!

And we got so many pics from their backcountry section! So exciting!

Vermont to Montréal A (VMA)

Back at it today for VMA, rolling through the green hills of Vermont. They even got to take a little trip on a bike ferry and rode to the Grand Isle State Park which consists of 266 acres of land! So much room for exploration!

Vermont to Montréal B (VMB)

Today VMB spend another day in Burlington to give back to the community! They worked alongside the Burlington Parks & Rec department on the maintenance of a rain garden and the vegetation management of perennial plantings along the Burlington Bike Path. Cleaning up the very bike path that they cycle – how cool!

Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)

These adventurers in Costa Rica hiked up to an Ecolodge in the rainforest today, seeing some incredible sights along the way! They will spend the next 4 days and 3 nights experiencing this wonderful place. Sooo jealous!

California Mountains & Coast (CMCA)

Day TWO backpacking in the Yosemite wilderness! Today CMCA continued on the trail and saw even more incredible sights and wonders. They’re still away from cell service so no blog pictures yet but we cannot WAIT until they come in!

California Mountains & Coast (CMCB)

Day TWO for these CMCers as well! Another big day of beautiful backountry hiking today, and we can’t wait to see their pictures when they emerge from the backcountry in a few days!

Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)

REST DAY BEST DAY! This deserving squad of hiker extraordinaires had oodles o fun, including some laundry, grocery shopping, and general preparation for the start of tomorrow’s two-day kayaking expedition! They also had the chance to explore Seward, a lovely little coastal town. We are so excited for what’s to come!

ALSO WE HAVE A BIRTHDAY ON OUR HANDS!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO THE FABULOUS ALASKA LEADER OLIVIA SACKLER! Isn’t she just amazing?

Scottish Highlands (SH)

This crew LOVES hillwalking and luckily they got to do another awesome hillwalk today! They had another stunningly gorgeous day today, climbing up “Devil’s Staircase” which has a very ominous name but is totally safe and achievable! Tomorrow is their last day of hiking on the West Highland Way and I just know they are going to soak it all in.

Pyrenees Mountains & Coast (PMC)

Back into the mountains the PMCers go, but this time the French mountains! I hope that their backpacks are filled with brie and their brains are filled with joy and excitement.

Trekking poles up if you love European cheese!
PMC delivering yet ANOTHER picture that utterly warms my heart.

Europe Coast to Coast 1 (ECC1)

INTO ITALY THEY GO! Our bikers of ECC1 soared past incredible vistas and views of three different countries. They landed in Glurns, Italy, a well preserved medieval village! The Alps are just marvelous– and not just because of the cheese (the cheese is significant though).
Acting silly for cheese!!!

Another use of self timer perhaps? I’m very impressed by their skills.

Europe Coast to Coast 2 (ECC2)

ECC2 rode in the heart of the Alps today! An epic and beautiful day landed them in Landeck, Austria, their last destination in that beautiful country before crossing into Italy tomorrow. Everyone in the group felt an incredible sense of accomplishment from riding through the mountain passes and we are so proud of them!

HUGS ALL AROUND!!!

America Coast to Coast (ACC)

HEELLLOOO CENTENNIAL RIDE! ACC has ridden just shy of 100 miles multiple times (I am utterly impressed reading the mileages that they do every dang day) but TODAY THEY RODE 107 MILES. That is actually INSANE. 107 miles…in one day…that’s a hefty amount of miles to drive!!! And they biked it!!
