From crossing international borders by bike and wrapping up backcountry adventures in Alaska to settling into new camps in New England and catching up with loved ones from Spain and Iceland, today was all about new chapters and fresh starts. That got us thinking: if today’s adventures had their own Spotify daylists, what would they be called? We gave each trip a custom daylist title inspired by the memories they made today! Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)
Three days, countless memories, and plenty of miles later, our adventurers emerged from the Alaskan backcountry with stories to tell and a real sense of accomplishment. After wrapping up their backpacking journey through Alaska’s rugged wilderness, the group made a well-earned resupply stop before heading to Eagle River. With fresh snacks, clean clothes, and time to reflect on everything they experienced, everyone is recharged and ready for the next chapter of the trip.

Alps Explorer (AX)
Ten days into hiking the iconic Tour du Mont Blanc, our AX group continues to take on each new challenge with incredible determination. Today’s 15-kilometer trek brought the group through stunning alpine scenery before arriving in the charming Swiss village of Champex. With another rewarding day of hiking behind them, the group is one step closer to completing an unforgettable journey around one of the world’s most famous mountain ranges.

Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)
Today, our IMCers set out on a scenic day hike, exploring even more of Iceland’s dramatic landscapes. From rugged terrain to unforgettable views, every mile offered something new to discover — including puffins one of our IMCers caught on their camera (see below)! After a rewarding day on the trail, the group returned to camp in Vík, taking time to relax, reconnect with home during their email stop, and get ready for the adventures still ahead.

Maine Coast College Essay (MCCE)
The start of an exciting week for our MCCEers! After arriving and settling into their accommodations, students shared a delicious meal together before getting to know one another through fun icebreakers and introductory games. New friendships are already beginning to form, and everyone is excited to dive into a week of writing, learning, and exploring the beautiful Maine coast.

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEX)
Today was all about preparing for the next big adventure! This fiery DEX squad spent the day traveling, restocking supplies, tackling laundry, and making final preparations before heading into the backcountry. While it may not have been a day on the trail, it was an important chance to reset, organize gear, and make sure everyone is ready for the exciting days ahead in Maine’s wilderness.

New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)
Woohoo! Welcome NEMC! After arriving at their campsite in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, students settled in, pitched camp, and jumped right into getting to know one another through fun games and activities. With new friendships already forming and a week of adventure ahead, the group is off to a fantastic start.

After days of adventure, this joyous bunch enjoyed a travel day as they made their way to Espot, Spain. Along the journey, students had the chance to catch up with family and friends during their email stop before settling in and preparing for the exciting adventures still ahead. It was the perfect opportunity to recharge, reflect on the memories already made, and get ready for what’s next.

Vermont to Montreal (VM)
Helloooo Canada! Today was a milestone day for our intrepid bikers! After riding an impressive 36 miles, the cyclists officially crossed the border into Canada and continued on to their campsite in Lacolle, Québec. With every mile, the group is growing stronger, building confidence, and making unforgettable memories as they pedal their way toward Montreal.
