From misty mountain peaks to sun-drenched coastlines, our summer adventures are in full swing! Today, our crews hiked, biked, surfed, zipped, and explored their way through incredible landscapes, from the rainforests of Costa Rica to the rocky trails of New England. Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)

Today was filled with high-altitude adventure for our trip in Alaska! The crew rose with the sun, lacing up their boots for an ambitious hike over a mountain pass. As they made their ascent, they were greeted with views of snow-capped peaks stretching across the horizon.

Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)

Challenge accepted—and conquered! Today was their Challenge Hike Day in the stunning Rocky Mountain National Park. After a long day of climbing switchbacks and taking in sweeping alpine views, they’re heading into Estes Park to celebrate their achievement. Nothing beats that post-hike glow after a day well spent in the mountains!

Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)

It’s a bird, it’s a plane, it’s our CRMC trip flying through the treetops of Costa Rica! The crew started off this morning by soaring through the lush rainforest canopy on an epic zip-lining adventure. After an exhilarating ride, they traded their harnesses for a journey to a town in the shadow of Mount Chirripo, the tallest mountain in the entire country. It was a perfect blend of adrenaline-pumping fun and the serene majestic beauty of the mountain highlands.

Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)

Surf’s up in Puerto Rico! The crew kicked off their day with an epic surfing session, riding the waves with their awesome guide, Ramse. After a morning of shredding, they traded their board for a chill afternoon at a beachfront cafe where they watched a rainstorm roll in over the ocean as they ate empanadas and played a couple rounds of Fish Bowl!

Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)

Our Caribbean crew spent today working with The Nature Conservancy to help preserve the local coral reefs and protect sea turtles. After putting in some hard work, The Nature Conservancy gave the group a behind-the-scenes tour, showing them a little more about their ongoing efforts to protect the island’s unique marine ecosystem.

Europe Coast to Coast (ECC)

DEUTSCHLAND! Today, the team embarked from Strasbourg, France, crossed the Rhine River and celebrated their arrival in Germany by foraging for wild blackberries in the shadow of a castle. In the evening, the crew enjoyed a bit of the local cuisine as they feasted on fresh soft pretzels and bratwurst.

 

Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)

Today the crew set off on a six-mile hike where Iceland’s expansive landscape stretched out before them in all directions. The glacial rivers and volcanic terrain made today’s hike and iconic sights truly memorable.

Maine Coast Junior (MCJ)

Acadia National Park offers the perfect answer to the age-old question, “Do you prefer the mountains or the sea?” Why choose when you can have both! Today, this adventurous crew embarked on a day hike that offered the best of both worlds: mountain peaks and dramatic ocean views.

New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)

The ancient White Mountains of New Hampshire gave our hikers plenty of adventures as they traversed the lush green landscapes. Today’s trail wove its way alongside a series of cascading waterfalls and rivers providing a constant soundtrack of rushing water. The cool mountain air and refreshing spray of the falls made for a perfect summer day on the trail.

Northwest Mountains & Coast (NWMC)

Today, our northwest explorers spent another exciting day hiking through Olympic National Park. The trail led them high into the mountains, where they were rewarded with breathtaking, panoramic views. From their vantage point, they could see the rugged, snow-capped peaks of the Olympic range stretching to the south, and a glimpse of the Strait of Juan de Fuca to the north.

 

Pacific Coast (PC)

What a day for the Pacific Coast biking trip! The foggy morning made the perfect backdrop as they pedaled through today’s scenic 36-mile ride. The refreshing, misty air was a welcome relief, keeping everyone cool and comfortable as they rolled along the winding roads and trails.

Pyrenees Mountains & Coast (PMC)

Our backpacking group has officially landed in Spain! After arriving at the airport, the group headed to the beautiful coastal town of Sitges, where they wasted no time jumping in the pool to cool off. Tomorrow holds even more adventure as they’ll be sea kayaking in the Mediterranean and exploring the town’s charming streets.
