Whether it be our intrepid discoverers beyond the vast expanse of the sea or our spirited explorers from the American shores, these adventures have accomplished a remarkable many pursuits today. Continue dearest reader, for there remains much to recount: of invigorating excursions upon winding trails, spirited rides over ascents of no ordinary distinction, and ventures upon both tranquil waters and spirited rapid before retiring at day’s end to the comforts of camp, where lively games and a most satisfying table restore both body and spirit. Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)
Most regrettably, the time has come to bid our Alaskan adventurers adieu. With memories of treasured friendships kindled and sights of unparalleled vistas in stow, this reader can only begin to imagine the fondness with which they reflect upon their most exhilarating of escapades. One suspects these extraordinary days, filled with laughter, discovery, and breathtaking wonders, will remain among their most treasured chapters long after they have returned home.
Alps Explorer (AX)
Meanwhile, our distinguished explorers of the Alpine wilderness continue valiantly forth along the renowned Tour du Mont Blanc, where each bend in the trail reveals yet another marvel worthy of admiration. Upon the second day of this most intrepid expedition, these gallant voyagers undertake a spirited trek of 9 kilometers. Along the way, whispers suggest there was no shortage of awe-inspiring scenery to inspire even the most seasoned adventurer. The travelers shall arrive at this evening’s most inviting of lodgings, where well-earned repose awaits. Lively amusements, cheerful conversation, and delicious refreshments must surely ensue, providing a most fitting conclusion to a truly splendid day!
Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)
On this day, our bold discoverers in Colorado venture beyond Grand Lake. These spirited explorers found occasion to pursue a delightful excursion into the trails for a morning trek before continuing on their travels. Surrounded by towering pines and the fresh mountain air, one can only imagine the splendid views that awaited them with every step. Upon their journey onwards, their ever-watchful eyes may even find themselves fortunate enough to view elk! Furthermore, this author has heard whisperings that these valiant adventurers may even travel via the highest continuous paved road in the country as they explore Estes Park. How delightful! Should fortune continue to favor them, this day’s adventures shall surely become among the most memorable of their grand expedition.
Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)
On the eve of their departure, our charitable spirits of Puerto Rico embark towards their nation’s capital for exploration and a grand concluding feast! The bustling streets and storied landmarks shall no doubt provide one last opportunity for admiration before the journey home begins. This author would venture to say that their final soirée will be the event of the season, certain to be remembered long after the evening’s final toast has been made.
Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)
This author finds herself compelled to share the most joyful of news from our devoted souls of the virgin islands. These generous volunteers familiarize themselves amidst stately groves within which their residence will ensue for the passing days before continuing onward towards their sweeping exploration across the island’s most remarkable terrain. Yet, even the most spirited explorers must occasionally exercise restraint, and the group wisely balanced their curiosity with a most welcome measure of leisure, ensuring they were suitably rested for their enchanting evening excursion by kayak where bioluminescence is rumored to glow.
Dolomite Mountains & Croatian Coast (DMCC)
Dearest readers, one finds that adventure rarely remains confined to familiar shores. The most curious of souls are forever drawn toward new horizons, and our esteemed members of DMCC venture forth, trading the magnificent peaks of the Dolomites for the alluring shores of the Croatian coast, where yet another chapter of wonder awaits. These ever-curious explorers will even find themselves briefly venturing through the enticing Slovenia to procure provisions. The more curious members of society have heard whispers of a visit to the beach upon arrival in Croatia, with the delightful possibility of a refreshing plunge before the evening repast. This author thinks this is a most fitting finale to the day’s many pleasures.
Europe Coast to Coast (ECC)
While a promenade will suffice for some, this author finds that some adventurers require a more swift means for transportation in search for exploration. Utilization of the esteemed bicycle has provided our European explorers with the most spectacular of vistas and pursuits. On this particular day, these voyagers continue their traverse across the mountainous northern Italian terrain. While towering ascents might deter a few, these intrepid riders carry forth valiantly. These bicycle-borne travelers enjoy a most deserved evening of respite and jubilation after a journey of triumph.
New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)
Dearest readers, it appears that even the earliest hours of the day cannot escape the ambition of our most valiant explorers. Those who have taken to the mountains and coastlines of New England had the opportunity to embrace the finest philosophy of adventure, to seize the day. A valiant group of these explorers elected to rise before dawn to greet the morning sun upon a most magnificent sunrise hike. The adventures did not end there, gentle reader, for these explorers continued their pursuits upon the water, embarking upon a most charming kayaking excursion. Whispers tell that their affairs continue to Freeport this evening for yet another opportunity for further discovery and a most memorable concluding supper.
Northwest Mountains & Coast (NWMC)
It has come to this author’s attention that our most valiant explorers of the mountains and coastlines of the Northwest have enjoyed a day of adventure so remarkable, it would surely inspire even the most discerning members of society to take notice. Their escapades commenced with a winding morning ramble, followed by a most delightful picnic luncheon. Yet, dear readers, the delights were far from concluded. In the afternoon our esteemed members of NWMC took to the water for a most thrilling white water rafting expedition. What a splendid assortment of adventures this day has bestowed upon our explorers!
