The crew took their new friendships, experiences, and bags and hopped onto planes getting to see the incredible places they had just been from above. Safe travels everyone!
Alaska Mountains & Coast B (AKMCB)
What an incredible 12 days together! From climbing glaciers to making new friends to backpacking in the remote wilderness to sea kayaking, AKMCB had a blast. They parted ways this morning (it’s not goodbye, just see you later!) with full hearts and full bags. We wish everyone safe travels home!
Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)
Wow! 12 days went by fast! After an incredible time hiking in the mountains and surfing on the coast, CRMC parted ways this morning. They flew back home dreaming about the wonderful adventures they’ve had and new friends made!
Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)
CSPR packed their bags this morning and said goodbye to their new friends, taking with them memories of the incredible past 12 days. They helped small farmers, fixed up trails, learned to surf, swam in the ocean, explored the cities, and went on incredible hikes. Safe travels home everyone!
Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)
After a final breakfast together, CSVI packed up their island home and headed to the airport. They boarded their planes with smiles, new friends, and great memories. Happy travels!
Maine Coast College Essay (MCCE)
This morning, our hardworking MCCE crew put the finishing touches on their incredible drafts! After seven days of brainstorming, drafting, editing, and revising, our MCCE’ers finally shared their completed work with the group. The moment called for a celebration and that’s exactly what the evening had in store. The group spent their final night together in Portland exploring the sights!
Maine Coast Junior (MCJ)
The crew started their day with not one but TWO hikes in beautiful Acadia seeing sights including (but not limited to) mountains, the ocean, and a lighthouse. They had a delicious lunch, played some games, and headed down the coast to prepare for volunteering tomorrow. What a fun day!
New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)
Today the crew packed up camp in the White Mountains and headed out to the coast for the next few days. They spent the afternoon volunteering at a wonderful farm that provides fresh, local, and organic produce to foodbanks and food pantries in the area! The team helped weed the gardens and said hi to some goats!
