As summer adventures begin to wind down, our incredible crews are still cruising along. Whether they’re summiting peaks, catching waves, writing essays, or simply enjoying time together in some of the most beautiful places on Earth. Read on to see what today held for each group!

Alaska Mountains & Coast A (AKMCA)
After conquering both the mountains and the sea, AKMCA took on a new challenge… Ice! They met their guides and headed to the glacier, where they climbed incredible glacial routes like pros. The crew also enjoyed some delicious dinner and quality time together. They spent their final evening in Seward before heading back to Anchorage tomorrow for their last day!
Alaska Mountains & Coast B (AKMCB)
This victorious crew emerged from the backcountry today and returned to civilization in style! They celebrated with a post-backpacking treat of pizza night before enjoying well-earned showers. Tonight, they’re settling into camp and getting ready for their final day together.
Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)
Surf’s up in Costa Rica! After several days in the jungle, this crew was ready to hit the waves. They enjoyed a morning of surf lessons followed by an afternoon beach day. With beautiful views, perfect waves, and great friends, it was yet another unforgettable day in paradise!
Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)
The CSPR crew caught some awesome waves this morning, learning from a local surfing instructor. After their epic morning on the water, they enjoyed a beachside picnic lunch and a relaxing afternoon. They savored their final evening in their recent home before heading back to San Juan tomorrow for their last full day together.
Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)
Sunshine and blue skies here, folks! The Caribbean Service Virgin Islands group started their day with a scenic hike up to Ham’s Bluff Lighthouse, complete with games and ocean views at the top. This afternoon, they headed down to Sandy Point to dive into sea turtle education, paint conservation signs, and enjoy a truly magical sunset turtle watch.
Maine Coast College Essay (MCCE)
MCCE started the day with a writing workshop, continuing to craft their thoughtful essays. After a productive morning, they headed to a local farming non-profit to volunteer for the afternoon. To cap off the day, they enjoyed a picnic dinner at the beach, well-earned after all their hard work!
Maine Coast Junior (MCJ)
After yesterday’s journey up the coast, this MCJ crew was eager to explore all that Acadia has to offer. They hit the trails on foot and were rewarded with stunning views of the park. Back at camp, they enjoyed games and dinner as they continued to settle into their new home base.
New England Mountains & Coast (NEMC)
Holy guacamole! This NEMC crew absolutely crushed Mt. Washington, reaching the summit just after 10 AM. Their homemade Apogee flag waved proudly at the highest point in New England! Along the trail, they enjoyed scenic snack breaks, games, and stories. All in all, an incredible day for NEMC!
