Enrollment for our 2026 trips is open! Check out details on our early bird discount here to save $300 on your 2026 Apogee tuition and peruse our 2026 trip offerings (including a brand new itinerary!).

We have made it to the one month mark of trips in the field! This summer’s blog so far has been jam packed with stellar pics from all over the world. We are peanut butter and jealous of all the fun things happening in the Apo-World. We’ve got Alps groups crushing the TMB, kiddos trekking through the Rockies, bikers exploring Venice, Icelanders chasing waterfalls, students perfecting their college essays in Maine, and the start of a new bike tour to Montreal. Scroll down to see epic stuff!

Skip to a Specific Trip:  AXA, AXBCRM,  CSVI, DEX, ECC, IMC, MCCE, PMC, VM

Alps Explorer A (AXA)

You guessed it! AXA went for yet another amazing hike through insanely beautiful and picturesque landscapes in the Alps in France today. After a day of hard work on the TMB this crew has earned this group a pizza dinner at the campground. Vibes are off the charts and stoke levels are high as the group continues along with a rest day coming soon. P.S. I spy one remaining balloon from yesterdays birthday bash for Claire!

Alps Explorer B (AXB)

Au revoir à Frances, buongiorno a Italia. For the non-trilingual blog readers, the alps explorers on AXB have crossed the border from France into Italy. It seems even when the skies are cloudy the views are always breathtaking out on the TMB. Reports from the field have indicated warm hearts and big smiles.  We simply cannot wait to see what Italy has in store for our AXBers!

Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)

The rocky mountains are singing once again, and the kiddos on CRM are loving every second of it. They tackled another day hike to loosen up their sore legs from challenge day yesterday. Tonight they enjoyed time in camp and the celebration of a trip Birthday! Tomorrow it’s off the trails and onto some white water! What’s not to love about that?!

Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)

Departure day for CSVI means lots of goodbyes to wonderful friends made during their time on the island! These kids did a wonderful job serving the community this past week, explored some stunning places, and made so many memories!

Europe Coast to Coast (ECC)

Ah, Venezia, a historic city to host the celebration of a historic trip. After biking over 1900 Kilometers (that’s 1200 miles for those who haven’t been thinking in the metric system for the last 29 days like our ECCers) the team enjoyed a day of exploring around the legendary city. Once strangers, now family, this Apogee group is soaking up the last few hours together before heading back to their loved ones. Congratulations on a successful journey, ECC 2025, the long hills, strong headwinds, and many kilometers were no match for your quads of steel. Salute, Amici!

Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)

Today in Iceland the gang is having a transit day to their next home, Vik. Fear not though, the drive appears to have been broken up nicely by a visit to the famously gorgeous Seljalandsfoss waterfall!! They enjoyed a nearly cloudless afternoon and after dinner they explored the town and went to the black sand beach! A dreamy day for this IMC crew.

Maine Coast College Essay (MECC)

Drafts are coming along and MCCE is having fun. It’s been a great couple days in Maine so far on MCCE as is taking a work hard, play hard approach to the trip.  They did another workshop with our writing instructor, Jack, followed by an afternoon hike! After all that learning and adventure the MCCErs headed home for a night of good food and fun games!

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEX)

Dex is hitting the road today and heading toward Baxter State Park. After a couple awesome days of hiking the group is enjoying some time out of their hiking boots. Along their road trip, they had a picnic lunch and some fun in the park. They enjoyed a chill afternoon in their new campground and did some laundry and prepared for their upcoming backcountry section!

Pyrenees Mountains & Coast (PMC)

Adiós, amigos. Safe travels to our Spaniards flying home from an amazing couple weeks in the Pyrenees. Thanks for a fantastic time hiking, kayaking and laughing together in Spain.

Vermont to Montreal (VM)

First ride of the trip for the Vermont bikers. They chowed down on 15 miles of rolling hills and still had some room left over for lunch in camp. Despite a pretty rainy day on the bikes, spirits are high, and the group is feeling strong and ready to make the trek to Montreal over the next 10 days.
