Alaska Mountains & Coast (AKMC)

Hiking across a massive glacier and scaling its icy surface made for an unforgettable day in Alaska. With frozen blue landscapes stretching for miles, ice climbing on a glacier must have felt like an other-worldly experience. This was likely the only trip that made sure to throw on some extra layers in the middle of summer today!

Alps Explorer A (AXA)

The group set off on a scenic hike to a picturesque mountain lake with blueberries and waffles at the top! And is there a better way to round out a day of hiking than by taking a quick dip in an alpine lake? We don’t think so! It was the perfect spot to relax and take in the views of Zermatt.  After a day filled with adventure, the crew follows a delicious dinner with a sweet treat from the Denner cooler for dessert!

Alps Explorer B (AXB)

Goodbye Matterhorn, hello TMB prep! The silhouette of the Matterhorn is shrinking in the rearview mirror as the group says goodbye to the village of Zermatt. Their time spent acclimatizing with shorter hikes and soaking in the views feels like a dream already. But the real adventure is about to begin as they head towards Martigny and get ready to start the Tour du Mont Blanc!

Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)

Today in Uvita, the group hiked to a beautiful waterfall where they frolicked like no one’s business! Afterwards, they did a short hike in a bamboo forest before heading back for lunch and a beach scavenger hunt in the afternoon. These kids are simply the best at making the most of every day!

Caribbean Service Puerto Rico (CSPR)

This morning was dedicated to meaningful service with Corredor Ecológico del Noreste. Afterwards, the afternoon brought a perfect blend of local flavors and ocean fun, as the group savored treats at the Kioskos and watched skilled surfers ride the waves at La Pared. It was a day that beautifully combined giving back to the community with experiencing the vibrant culture and beauty of Puerto Rico.

Caribbean Service Virgin Islands (CSVI)

Our Virgin Islands adventurers spent a truly remarkable day combining service and outdoor exploration! This morning, they dedicated their time to The Nature Conservancy, doing trail work for an upcoming butterfly garden education center and enjoying a fascinating historic tour before lunch at Fort Christiansvaern. Last night, the highlight was an absolutely magical kayaking trip in a bioluminescent bay, one of only twelve in the world, which the kids absolutely loved! Now, they’re off to the beach, soaking up every last bit of this incredible experience.

Europe Coast to Coast (ECC)

Talk about making the most of a rainy day! Our biking group in Europe turned what could have been a washout into an epic mountain adventure. After a well-deserved lie-in, they hopped on a bus to Grindelwald and took the gondola up the mountain for a picnic lunch with absolutely stunning Alpine views. The fun continued at the summit park with a wellness walk and even some raft racing! Now, it’s back to camp for some essential laundry, bike mechanics, and calls home after an unforgettable “rest” day.

Northwest Mountains & Coast (NWMC)

The Northwest Explorers are heading towards the stunning North Cascades, as they use this transit and rest day to prepare for tomorrow’s big challenge hike! This afternoon, they found the perfect spot to hang out and play some ultimate frisbee. Tonight, they’ll be nestled deep in the mountains, primed for an epic hike amidst some of the best scenery the Pacific Northwest has to offer.

Pyrenees Mountains & Coast (PMC)

Today promises an invigorating journey into the Pyrenees as the group makes their ascent deeper into the mountains. They enjoyed a scenic picnic lunch at Estany St. Maurici before continuing their climb to Amitges, passing the beautiful Cascada Ratera.
