From the peaks of the Alps, and the windows of planes, from beneath the Californian red woods and giant waterfalls, our Apogee students saw new heights today. With some trips just starting and some coming to a close, day 14 brought the excitement of new faces and the appreciation of new friends!

Alps Explorer A (AXA)
Nestled beneath Mount Blanc (the highest peak in the Alps!) lies the village of Courmayeur and AXA! Today they left their secluded spot and took the epic cable car up Punta Helbronner, enjoyed 360 views of the snowy alps including the Matterhorn, and ate lunch under the sun. After heading back down the mountain the crew explored town, played some games and enjoyed some much deserved rest!
Alps Explorer B (AXB)
AXB hopped back on the TMB today hiking into the picturesque Val Ferret with views of the Pré de Bar glacier, Grandes Jorasses, and the Mount Blanc chain. The crew settled in for the night with Switzerland just out of view ready to greet them tomorrow!
Colorado’s Rocky Mountains (CRM)
Flying into the mile-high city the crew’s spirits were even higher as they were met with epic views of the Rockies and peaks they will soon summit! Once on the ground they traveled past more mountains and settled in for the night at Grand Lake with delicious food in their bellies and excitement for the days to come!
