Join us as we journey from the mystical redwood forests to enchanting Icelandic hot springs, and everywhere in between. Of course, we included a superstitious tidbit for each trip, because it’s day thirteen!

Alps Explorer A (AXA)
Kendall and Otto’s group says “ciao” from Courmayeur, where evil spirits are believed to inhabit glaciers. Good thing the group was in town today, enjoying a well deserved rest day! The squad devoured breakfast burritos, relaxed in camp, and played at the park. In the afternoon they wandered the streets of Courmayeur, complete with sunshine and smiles!
Alps Explorer B (AXB)
Italian superstition informs us that we mustn’t celebrate birthdays early, but today the crew was able to enjoy a lovely Italian Merengue ice cream cake to celebrate a special birthday on trip! The group also took a cable car up Punta Helbronner, complete with stunning views of Monte Bianco. What a special day!
Costa Rica Mountains & Coast (CRMC)
Today our CRMC crew said “adios amigos” as they bid one another farewell, and made their way back home. Oh, and just in case anyone is traveling home on horseback, keep those horseshoes facing up so the luck doesn’t fall out!
Europe Coast to Coast (ECC)
ECC spent the day exploring Paris, where they took an impromptu food tour of the city by trying pastries from every bakery they encountered. Reports claim they are “buttered out”, if that is even possible! Did you know that upside down baguettes are considered bad luck? The group also visited the world renowned Notre Dame, Eiffel tower, and Louvre, where they savored a charcuterie picnic on the lawn. How merveilleux!
Iceland Mountains & Coast (IMC)
Greetings from Iceland, where locals advise you to never step on a black beetle, because it will bring rain! Our IMC crew started the day with some friendly competition as they played Captain’s Coming and the dance game (if you know, you know). Next, they ventured out to the Hammsvik Hot Springs, where they relaxed in the natural geothermal pools. Post dip, our brave crew did an ocean cold plunge. Talk about the land of fire and ice!
Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEX)
Peace out, girl scout! Following breakfast, our Dex crew said one last bittersweet goodbye before their departures home. For all those sailing home, make sure you’re stepping aboard with your right foot first!
Northwest Mountains & Coast (NWMC)
Departure day arrived, and it was sadly time to bid heartfelt goodbyes. The crew headed their separate ways this morning, after breakfast and farewells. As far as we know, they made it through without any bigfoot encounters…
Pacific Coast (PC)
Today our PC crew cruised through the mystical and legendary “Avenue of the Giants.” They were surrounded by majestic redwoods all around for portions of their ride! The ancient giants are said to embody protection and wisdom – who doesn’t love that?!
Pyrenees Mountains & Coast (PMC)
Our PMC crew made their way through the picturesque Pyrenees for the last time today. Their views were speckled with sparkling turquoise lakes, some of which are said to be inhabited by fairies! Tomorrow they are off to beautiful Barcelona, to explore and celebrate their awesome accomplishments together!
Vermont to Montreal (VM)
Today our VM crew said “au revoir” as they wrapped up their trip and everyone made their way towards home. Wheels up, everyone, we will miss you s’much!
