Today’s the day, folks—Apogee summer has officially begun! We’ve been counting down the days, and we are SO excited to welcome our Northwest Mountains and Coast and Maine’s Downeast Explorer students. Bi-coastal? more like hello-coastal! Let’s check out what these adventurers have been up to in their first 24 hours!

Maine’s Downeast Explorer (DEX)

What an exciting morning for our exuberant Maine’s Downeast Explorer students! After settling into their first campsite, they spent the evening playing games and getting to know one another. The great state of Maine awaits—and we can’t wait to see what adventures lie ahead for these voyagers!

Northwest Mountains & Coast (NWMC)

Leaders Karlee, Jacob, and Aya were all smiles as their eager explorers touched down in Seattle. The first day has been filled with some delicious food along with some intense games of UNO and Poison Dart Frog at the airport before the group set off for their campsite. With new friendships on the horizon, seas to be kayaked, and trails to be hiked, we can’t wait to see what the next 13 days have in store!
