Further proof of Kate’s awesomeness: Kate ran a marathon this spring with her sister (and fellow Apogee leader), Benna! And that is not where the Apogee connection stops; Kate was an Apogee student for four summers! While at school in Colorado Springs, she has been volunteering at a local middle school to plan after school activities ranging from ceramics to rock climbing. Kate also works at the Colorado College library’s front desk. Back at home in New York, Kate was a board member of a non-profit organization that helps distribute clothes, food, and other necessary items to unhoused populations in New York City, and she was also the assistant coach of the Rye Field Hockey Academy.
