They did it!!

At 4 PM PST, our America Coast to Coast trip reached the Pacific Ocean!! 12 to 15 parents/family members, 2 TV stations (Fox and CBS), Chad, my friend Guybe (who's taking photos), and about 20 surfer dudes witnessed the elation of our group dropping their bikes in the sand, pulling off their front wheels and running into the water. Chad, who professes not to get emotional very often, admits that, he too, had goosebumps and misty eyes. A HUGE congratulations to Nick, Maggie, Sam, Jake, Amy, Nick E., Nick C., Julia, Sarah, Christine, Pat, Ryan, Jack, & Nicole!!

P.S. Notice the tip of an NBC microphone near the bottom right of photo. Hollywood might take this and run!
